This handheld tester is designed to verify automotive relays with a digital display. It supports 4- or 5-pin relay configurations and operates from a vehicle electrical system in the 11–25 V range.
Key physical attributes include long alligator clips (42 cm / 16.54 in) and an opening of 2.1 cm (0.82 in). It tests relays with coil resistance of at least 20 Ω and uses standard 4-/5-pin sockets.
Power is drawn from a 12 V automotive battery. Clip the black lead to the negative terminal and the red lead to the positive terminal to begin testing.
During testing, the unit identifies the relay pin position, timing of action release, and consistency over cycles. A green indicator means the relay passes, while a red indicator signals a fault.
